Geometry 101

Top: H&M, similar styles by ASOS, Paul Smith, and MANGO // Skirt: JCrew // Heels: Dolce & Gabbana // Necklace: TJ Maxx // Long Necklace: Stella & Dot // Bag: Alexandra Satine // Ring: unknown, similar here by Amrita Singh  // Sunglasses: Dior // Nails: Essie Prima Ballerina

My gaze has been distracted by the fun, geometric prints that are gracing the designers’ collections this fall.  I’ve been finding many versions of these kaleidoscopic patterns in gorgeous dresses and tops and I’ve been contemplating adding more pieces to my collection.  To pair with the print of the top, I wanted geometric accessories to keep things interesting and unique.  And on my feet, a pair of Dolce & Gabbana leopard print heels that have apparently been hiding in my closet for the past year….?!?

What are your thoughts on these geometric prints?

Thanks Zhanna! I am always really silly when taking my pictures and will always throw in a twirl (even though the pictures never look good…) but this time I got lucky! The Alexandra Satine clutch is GORGEOUS….have you checked out the rest of her collection for fall? #amazing

Thanks Terry! I still need to break these shoes in a bit but I think they will be fun to bring into winter and fall with a thick pair of tights! I kind of love the look of transitioning open toe shoes to fall that way!

  4. Gorgeous!

  5. Jen, kaleidoscopic prints add a flirty fun touch to a simple outfit. Great pairing with the oxblood skirt and that statement necklace.
