My go-to ensemble for work is a corporate-savvy combination of a pencil skirt, sweater and perfect pumps. But sometimes its fun to add in special details to add a more sartorial touch. I love the yellow hue of this skirt and felt it went so perfectly paired with the different colors of brown in my purse, tortoise shell heels, and my hair (hey, hair is an accessory!). Playing off of the feminine shape of the pencil skirt, I brought a special touch to my collarbone with a pearl dotted collar to turn up the sweetness factor just a bit. Browns, yellow and a hint of pearl may just be my new favorite color combination!
