Red Lips / Red Nails

I found myself at one point this weekend having color coordinated lip and nail color.  While I’m convinced that red lip color is the best teeth whitening treatment ever, both red lips and nails together can have a va-va-voom effect and I wanted to style myself in a way to make it a bit more casual and daytime friendly.  Cue the utility jacket…

I saw this jacket at Forever 21 and practically had to pull it off the mannequin I loved it so much.  I like how I can adjust the drawstring at the waist to make a more hourglass shape based on my outfit.  To pull all of these warm colors together, I chose my ISLY clutch for a beautiful, classic shape that easily goes from day to night.  And when the sun begins to set, I can switch out the utility jacket and my outfit is perfectly ready for night!

     Thanks Nic! I love the mini gold studs on these heels too. I’ve even transitioned them to the office and they work out just fine (as long as my pedicure isn’t in an outrageous color!).
