Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of this spooky fall holiday. My birthday is in late October so I’ve always had a liking for the orange and black color scheme. With respect to fashion, orange is one of my favorite fall colors for its ability to warm up an outfit. I let the orange color punctuate my detailed outfit of a hand-beaded sweater and a polka dot embossed pencil skirt to add some richness to the complimentary colors. Adding on my bold statement necklace by M Renee Design was key in making my conservative outfit a bit more edgy!

BTW… I truly LOVE this whole ensemble. “Conservative” or not, it is darling. Sophisticated and “edgy” all at the same time. It is just so hard to go wrong with a great pencil skirt, a lovely sweater and a fabulous pair of heels!

Hey Jordan, funny that we are wearing the same pencil skirt. Aren’t they the greatest? Yeah I’m a huge fan of the sweater and pencil skirt combo for work so sometimes its nice to throw in a bold necklace just for fun!
