A Bright Start to the New Year

Happy New Year!  2011 has come and gone and now 2012 is here ready to show us all that it has to offer.  I started off the year with a little bit of pampering and got a much needed facial at one of my favorite spas in San Francisco, Soothe!  I’m headed back into the office tomorrow so now I need to work on getting to bed at a decent hour…Lets see how that goes.

A brand new year needs to be welcomed so I pulled together a bright look for my bright outlook on the new year.   Mixing complimentary brights is fun and this red and pink combo brought major sunshine to the city by the bay this New Year’s Day.  When playing with double-color I felt it best to keep my accessories neutral so I opted for black heels, shades and bag.  I snapped up this Oryany black raffia and leather bag this week and have already combined it with so many daily outfits.  Its a great, versatile bag so keep your eyes peeled as I’m sure it will make more appearances on Just Add Glam!

I’m excited for the new challenges I’ve set for myself this year with respect to my career, fashion and blogging.  But of course my most challenging resolution will be to keep my ever-expanding closet organized (gulp!)

    I dont know how I missed this post on Twitter. The combination of the pink dress and the red coat looks just so fabulous. Im a huge fan of bright colors any time of the year. Did you have a good NYE party? no posts? As far as my fashion resolutions goes definitely more bright colors.. dont if as bright as this 🙂

      Hey Sandy! Yes to the bright colors! I’m thinking of some YELLOW next. NYE was good…I did the huge party thing in London last year so this year was more mellow 🙂
