Billowing

Top: Zara, similar here // Skirt: BCBG Max Azria, similar here // Bag: Valentino, and also in cheetah, black, maroon, and mini! // Flats: Manolo Blahnik // Sunglasses: Carrera // Scarf: JCrew, similar here // Earrings: Marie Todd c/o // Bracelet: JCrew // Watch: Michael Kors // Nails: OPI Mod About You

One of my favorite looks is a long, flowy maxi dress or skirt that gently skims the ground and billows when you walk.  Even though I’m wearing flats with this outfit (a rarity…) I feel like maxi skirts give the illusion of being so tall, something that my 5’4″ self loves!  I found this skirt on sale a couple weeks back for $10 (originally $178) and it was a nice surprise given the luxurious satin-esque fabric.  Always love finding a deal, especially one as pretty and pink as this!

Jennifer, a BCBG skirt for 10§, you can’t beat that, that’s amazing. I love the colour and that satin finish. Great how you paired ith with those neutral colours. I need to get myself a burgundy scarf, super cute with the dots on it and gives your look a nice finish. Where is this setting at? It’s amazing. You have a new follower on bloglovin, great sense of style.

Thanks Diana! I was looking for a way to take bright pink into fall/autumn and I think tying it together with a burgundy scarf is just the trick!

Finally tried @dintaifungusa and wow! So good! Her Finally tried @dintaifungusa and wow! So good! Here’s what we ordered:

🌟Cucumber Salad - a bright and light starter I’d love to make these at home (and @glucosegoddess would be proud!)
🌟String Beans with Garlic - I would have eaten 3 more orders of this had they not been $16/each. I’ve already been searching for copy cat recipes because they are just SO DAMN GOOD
🌟Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao - these are their classic soup dumpling and very yummy and chewy and I loved the soy-vinegar sauce pairing with it
🌟 Sticky Rice & Kurobuta Pork Shao Mai - these were recommended in a TikTok video but they weren’t my favorite. The rice plus the dough was just too much IMO
🌟 Chicken Spicy Wontons - these were very good! I would drink the bowl of sauce if no one was watching…
🌟 Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao - wow, what a great to end the meal! We don’t order dessert often but this really good. Love the melty creamy chocolate!

Can’t wait to go back! Have you been? You’ve got to try it!
I waited to share putting my 2023 vision board tog I waited to share putting my 2023 vision board together until late January because there it’s so much buzz around the new year and goal setting around the start of the new year…but how about waiting until the buzz around it starts to fade? I’ve been committed since 12/31/2022 but if you need some fresh inspiration for 2023…here you go!

Last year I made a digital vision board in Canva with about 8 vague photos and I never looked at it. This year, I got a huge poster board and nearly 100 very specific images of the things I want. VERY specific. In the short 3 weeks having this propped up in my office and seeing it each day, I’m already seeing the needle moving on these items!

Have you created a vision board or set goals for 2023? What doe is mean to you? How are you achieving your goals this year? #goalsetting #visionboard
