There’s nothing I love more than a big blanket scarf for fall. Give me a big bun of hair (as seen in my last tutorial here) and a blanket scarf, and I’m a happy camper. Since a blanket scarf can look a bit too casual, I purposely make an effort to go bold with my makeup to make sure my look is “fall cozy” and not “rolled out of bed and brought the blanket with me.”
My favorite red lipstick for fall has been MIA and it was critical to this look, so I popped into Target for a new favorite to live in my bag—and it just so happened to be during the L’Oreal fall beauty trends event! When I’m shopping for makeup, I like to be able to open it, swatch it, and test it out, so this event was great to get expert advice and be able to get my hands on the product. The L’Oreal expert recommended this bold red lipstick (I actually have another from the same line from this post), but somehow this color was much creamier and I am obsessed with the hydrating yet matte finish.
