This past weekend went by at a whirlwind speed (per usual…), but I got a chance to learn how to unplug and just relax on Saturday while letting the pouring rain pitter-patter on the windows. But, when it wasn’t raining I was checking out Fishbone performing at the Independent, celebrating birthdays and taking a ride in the big blue sky (It is totally normal to fly 150 miles to have lunch, right?).
When I was in Los Angeles the other weekend, my friend Natalia found these amazing Paige jeans in a cute Santa Monica boutique. I loved the fit but wanted them in a bright color for spring (her’s were a purpley-eggplant color) and luckily my wish was granted when I returned home! Definitely a bright way to celebrate the rain lifting, the clouds parting and the bright sunshine shining down on my face!

Hey Rachel! Thanks for your comment…I was a little unsure about the color at first since it reminded me of the bright blue bubblegum ice cream I remember as a kid…but I fell in love with them anyway 🙂
