Dress: MSGM, similar cut by MSGM here // Heels: Vince Camuto // Bag: Forever 21, similar here // Necklace: TJ Maxx // Bracelets: JCrew and JCrew // Nails: OPI William Tell Me About it and Butter London Knees Up
I’d like to have an infinite closet of dresses, sweaters, blouses, skirts, and everything in between. But since I refuse to carry any credit card debt (ever!) and only have so much closet space, I have learned to get creative with what I have. This super fun and flirty MSGM dress is part of their Spring/Summer 2012 collection but the thought of only wearing it in the spring or summer feels too restrictive. I wanted to transition it to a year-round dress with potential for appearances at summer dinners, spring Sunday afternoons, as well as even Thanksgiving dinner. I wanted to balance out the soft, floral print of the dress with other elements of nature–cue the leopard print bag and heels–to take the dress into autumn. A mix of the floral and leopard…flora and fauna…and other warm, brown-toned accessories makes the transition effortless. Now I’m excited to see how I style this dress for winter when the temperatures drop a bit lower….Hmm…

Thanks Christina! I love leopard print but I’m a little nervous to wear it anywhere other than accessories for fear of looking too….cast of Jersey Shore! But I think I need to give it a try…

So there is SO much about this I love! Starting with you in general. Gorgeous pictures of you my dear! I love this dress and would wear it year round too. All the accessories are spots on and I kinda adore this necklace. The bag looks surprisingly more expensive than Forever 21 but maybe it’s just the way you paired it all. Really fantastic my coffee sipping friend 😉
