Another Las Vegas post coming your way! To me, brunch is a verb and and an important weekend ritual that I love. Its a great way to catch up with friends and leisurely enjoy the morning over eggs and mimosas.
On my recent trip to Las Vegas, my friend Mallory and I went to one of her favorite brunch spots–Honey Salt–and we had a fantastic time. I love their concept of farm-to-table when using locally sourced and organic ingredients. My favorite dish we shared was the crabcake eggs benedict with asparagus and hollandaise…incredible!
When brunching, I opt for outfits that are what I call “half and half”. I like to look half-polished because going out to see your friends is definitely an occasion to celebrate, but also half-comfortable since its the weekend and time to enjoy wonderful relaxed pieces of clothing.
For my half-polished I wore my current obsession JCrew leopard Etta pumps and some major statement necklaces which I layered for a double-up effect. And for half-comfortable? This slouchy, oversized cashmere sweater that feels so amazing…its feels just as comfortable as sleeping in on a Sunday.
Next time you’re in Vegas…you MUST go to Honey Salt for weekend brunch! Their crabcake benedict and blood orange mimosas are worth it!

Great look – I love that fun sweater paired with the chic animal print bag. Lovely!
When I go to Vegas I like to hit up the buffets at the end of the breakfast shift. Then, as soon as I get in they start bringing out the lunch foods. Brunch at breakfast prices!
