Ladies and gentlemen, a very special post for you today…Happy birthday to me and my little blog, Just Add Glam!  Its kind of crazy how fast this year has flown by but I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I have met who have inspired me to share my ideas on fashion and style.  My family, friends, and fans are what keep me inspired so thank you for a great year…and here’s to another one!

Another year older, but my inner child still likes to shine though sometimes…like when we are on the way to lunch and all I want to do is go climb on a nearby train (in and dress and heels, obviously).  This Alexander McQueen dress was an early birthday present to myself and I’m thrilled to have found it.  I found this beautiful printed dress on sale–marked down from I don’t even want to know how much–for $79 which practically made me faint from excitement.  To match a gorgeously dramatic dress, I added a veil in the form of my DIY Jil Sander-inspired knit cap.

    I absolutely love your birthday dress, how extravagant and fun is it and for that price? HELLO! Great steal! You added that extra polish touch to it by wearing that knitted hat with a vei, great styling mix.

    I’m still dumbfounded at what you paid fr this beauty. We need to do some hunting together because I’m hopping your shopping luck will rub off on me 😉 Beyond that having seen some of the pieces separately doesn’t do this entire look justice. You are killin’ it! The backdrop it AMAZE. What tracks are these. It’s the perfect location and the DIY beenie the bestest accessory ever! I can’t pick a favorite photo… I just can’t…. too good

    that was a very cute look !
    ive seen the beanie look down with a vail before from other bloogers/youtubers
    but i havent seen it done with a dress in a more sophisticated look.
