Hourglass

Top: Green Envelope Los Angeles, similar here // Skirt: Tracy Reese, similar gorgeousness here // Necklace: TJ Maxx // Heels: Vince Camuto // Bag: Valentino // Sunglasses: Electric // Nails: Essie Play Date

I did a little inventory in my closet recently and discovered that I truly have an affinity for skirts (but that’s no secret…)!  But my favorite in particular is this pencil skirt.  I love styling up pencil skirts for the office or even for a more fancy, girls weekend brunch (like in the case of this outfit).  The cut is so flattering for all body types and is wonderful to create or enhance your shape.  Tracy Reese created a gorgeous skirt with her stripes and flowers motif, and this skirt has me raising my brunch mimosa to toast to pencil skirts and all of the beautiful women who wear them!  Cheers!

Thanks Grace! I found this top at TJ Maxx and I most confess that I wear it all the time. Peplum is so flattering and this neutral color just pairs so well with everything!

That’s such a cute top and skirt! You look lovely. I love pencil skirts, though they tend to be out of my price range. They can’t replace my love for flared skirts, skater skirts, and circle skirts, but they’re definitely up there.
