I am over the moon for peplum right now. Its the perfect mix of tuck and flare–tucking in at the natural waist and flaring out at the hip…I could totally fit in as an extra on Mad Men! And give me some sky-high wedges to pair with my peplum, and I’m as happy as can be!
My life has been filled with high-intensity pigments lately…from these bright poppy pants to Essie Watermelon painted toenails to the pigmented powders from this weekend’s Holi festival at Stanford University. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Holi, its essentially an Indian festival that celebrates the arrival of spring by dressing in white and throwing colored powders at each other until you’re head to toe covered in colors–all while running around, dancing and listening to amazing music. It was a lot of fun participating in it this past weekend but I’m glad that the cleanup portion is over! I successfully used an entire bottle of body wash and drained the battery on my Clarisonic, but I am back to my normal skin shade, whoohoo!

Mad Men is right! I love the mix of old and new vibes in this outfit. Those lipstick red pants are incredible and are perfectly paired with a sweet peplum and some great jewelry. Love this look!

Yeah I found this jacket at Zara a couple weeks back and it quickly has become the ONLY thing I want to wear. I’m trying to make sure my next handful of looks don’t include it! LOL
