My Experience with SkinCeuticals Custom D.O.S.E
On the day of my treatment, we did a light/low setting microdermabrasion (physical exfoliation) to help remove dead skin and help with fine lines, age spots, and acne scarring. We then applied the Phyto Corrective Mask to help with redness, sensitivity, and hydration (a common go-to for any post-procedure sensitivity). We also added vitamin C (C E Ferulic) and SPF (Physical Fusion UV Defense), the two key components to any skincare routine!
We then made my Custom D.O.S.E serum – these are the ingredients selected for my skin concerns and their benefits:

What is Custom D.O.S.E?
Custom D.O.S.E is a new approach to skin care that combines high-quality ingredients with professional expertise to create a personalized serum just for you! One of the most interesting things about D.O.S.E is that the compounder can combine ingredients that, in the past, have been considered “unmixable” outside of a factory. Another interesting aspect is that the machine operates at 1,200 rotations per minute to make sure the ingredients are combined perfectly.
How long does a Custom D.O.S.E consultation take?
Each D.O.S.E evaluation takes between 3-5 minutes, and the serum takes about 5 minutes to put together. It really is amazing how short of a time it takes to create your serum, and you won’t have to worry about a thing because YOU were a part of the process.
How long does a Custom D.O.S.E serum last?
If you apply twice daily, it typically lasts three months. Since it’s smart to reevaluate your skincare routine every few months or so, due to things like changing seasons and such, it actually works out to reevaluate your serum as well!
