Dress: Dolce & Gabbana, similar here // Sweater: TopShop // Shoes: Jimmy Choo // Bag: Pulicati // Sunglasses: Target // Necklace: Forever21
There’s nothing like Oscar Sunday to get me excited for some fashion! Its always fun to catch the pre-show red carpet festivities and see everyone’s Oscar looks from the conservative to the more fashion-forward. However, last night did seem like a relatively conservative event for fashion with the gold standard of classic Hollywood looks taking center stage. My favorite looks of the night were Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma Stone, and Angelina Jolie–gorgeous dresses on some very talented ladies!
I particularly liked Gwyneth’s white gown look since it slightly resembled my favorite Dolce & Gabbana dress that I was wearing earlier this week. This dress is more of a night-out kind of piece so I made it more day time-friendly with a metallic TopShop sweater with the most unique open back detail.
Who was rocking your favorite red carpet look last night?

I LOVE that bag! It looks just like the Louis Vuitton one but nicer. Adding that to my wishlist 🙂
Yes, I love the shape too but its a big more unique than the LV print. Don’t get me wrong… I love LV but sometimes its good to go more unique!

Very nice! And I’m jealous of your hair – I’m working on growing it out that long!
I liked Gwyneth, Michelle Williams and Cameron Diaz!
Aww, you’re the sweetest. Yeah I’ve had my hair long for a very long time. It’s my favorite accessory 😉

I think it’s pretty awesome how you’re mixing a DG and Jimmy Choo with Target and Forever 21. The white dress looks flawless and it really makes this look stunning.
Thanks Anita! I could not agree with you more regarding mixing high and low! I personally always go for sunglasses that are more affordable (my favorite pair was less than $5!) because they tend to get lost or scratched up easily. And I like to go for splurge pieces that I know will be a part of my wardrobe for years to come.
