This past weekend I had lunch plans with my girlfriends and wanted to treat my long locks to a blowout treat for the occasion–just for fun! I made an appointment at my local Drybar and it was so. much. fun. Check out my experience through the photos below!
Starting off with a wash to get my day-old hair fresh and clean
The wash room in the back has the cutest seashells and starfish…perfect decor for the washing stations
Can you massage my head all day? Pretty please??
I’ve been addicted to fresh, white manicures all summer long and its the perfect Drybar branded manicure!
Love how Drybar treats you with a mimosa to welcome you to the salon!
The products that the stylist used in my hair smelled incredible, I was glad that they were available for purchase so I could bring them home
After using a round brush and curling iron, my stylists rolled my hair up into pin curls to let them cool–a critical step if you want to make your curls last. I do this at home when I’m getting ready–just pin them up, do your makeup and get dressed, and then take them out. All set!
Absolute lioness hair…rawr.
I love how Drybar’s mission is as clean and simple as their decor–“no cuts. no color. just blowouts.” My favorite part of going to the hair salon for cut or color was always the opportunity to get my hair blown out by a pro. But given that I only go to the salon once every 3 months or so…Drybar is the perfect way to get my gorgeous hair fix as quickly as it takes to book an appointment online.
With Drybar’s simple and sweet manta comes a perfectly simple menu–8 blowout styles for you to choose from for a perfect hair day (plus some great add-ons if you’re looking for an extra scalp massage or conditioning treatment). This visit I went for the Cosmo Tai–a style with a mix of loose curls and waves.
I’m teaming up with Drybar over the next few months to showcase more of their signature styles so stay tuned for next month when I reveal the next hairstyle!
