I’m so happy that the athleisure trend has been going strong–when the weather isn’t ideal, I typically like to live in leggings and a sweater as much as possible. This past weekend I got to enjoy an amazing Sunday in my athleisure wear keeping it casual. I spent my day getting coffee with friends, taking a kick ass Flywheel cycling class, and running errands at the grocery store.
Even though athleisure is a trend, I still put my Lululemon spandex to work. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this in the past but I’ve been a fitness and cycling instructor for the past 11 years and love taking fitness classes. I’m extremely picky when it comes to finding an instructor with great motivating energy and spot-on safety cues and I was so happy to find this new class at Flywheel that got me whoooing all class long! If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area I’d love to join you at a class in SF or Walnut Creek–bring your athleisure wear!

I love that outfit but I especially love that sweater! I don’t know what I will do when the Athleisure trend is no longer a trend. I wear dress clothes all week, I love spending my weekend in comfortable yet stylish clothing.

Yes! This look is my jam! I’d love to wear it 24/7! And I totally agree that finding a class that fits you and gets you pumped is definitely the way to great workout that keeps you coming back.

Totalllllly know what you mean about loving the athleisure trend. The day leggings and sweats became a thing again was the best day ever. Now my weekend uniform consists of fitted sweats, a slouch t-shirt, sneakers, a beanie, and (if it’s cold) a moto jacket. Comfy & cute FTW!
