While Etsy has been on most of our radars for the past few years, its becoming much more of a go-to for my shopping needs these days. If you’ve never heard of Etsy, let me fill you in. Etsy is one of the most versatile shopping websites for your every need, want, or desire. They have thousands of small businesses that sell handmade and vintage pieces to plants and beauty products. Supporting small business is so crucial right now, especially black-owned ones, and Etsy is the perfect platform to allow you to do so. Don’t hate me, but you might end up breaking the bank after reading about these amazing black owned shops because my cart is FULL.
Black Owned Shops on Etsy
This one woman shop located in Austin, Texas specializes in quality calligraphy, hand painted acrylics, lifestyle items, and more. Steph, IvelisseDesigns shop owner, even offers rush orders and custom listings that are so perfect for any occasion. I’m obsessed with the acrylic hexagon place cards and will definitely be ordering a custom set for my family.
TreatmentCo is owned by a woman named Deja who makes all natural soy candles and apothecaries. From lip salves to beeswax candles and incense, TreatmentCo has it all. With a five star review and great prices, this Etsy shop is a must. After looking at all of her products, I’m definitely looking forward to trying the rose lip salve and lavender sage soy candle.
Kizzie M is the creative designer behind WishfulPaperie. Her small business is an editable template shop for weddings, baby announcements, bridal showers, and more. I love that she makes editable designs because it gives you the chance to customize the templates yourself. Harrison’s 1st birthday isn’t until December, but I’m very excited to see what kind of birthday templates Kizzie has for my baby boy!
Wooden signs are so in right now and this Etsy shop has some of the cutest ones I’ve ever seen. MorningJoyCo is owned by Justin and Jasmine Allred who make custom laser-cut wooden signs and other home decor pieces. They even offer free shipping on orders over $35 (what a steal!!). I’m obsessed with the custom family name signs and the nursery signs. The style of these pieces are so elegant and simple – right up my alley!
If you’re in need of a spa night, body scrubs, candles, or wall prints, SimpleGVO is worth checking out! SimpleGVO has handmade natural soy candles and energy products that have the most amazing scents. I absolutely love the motivational quotes on the wall prints and will for sure be placing an order soon.
Wall prints are so great for decorating plain spaces around your house. Emma Hall sells the cutest downloadable and printable designs that I know you’ll all love. She has designs that would work in any room and even some of the cutest ones for anyone designing a nursery.
Meena Osei-Kuffour makes some of the most beautiful hand-crafted earrings I’ve ever seen. All of the earrings she sells would spice up any outfit. She even offers free shipping which is a major plus! Okay this bow, handband, and beanie Etsy shop is the cutest shop ever! Courtney offers so many different colors and designs that are so adorable. If you have a baby bow obsession then you NEED to check out these ones from SweetMayCo immediately. I would love to get us all matching beanies one day!

If you’ve followed along with me for a while, you know I love natural products. This Etsy shop, BladeandBloom, sells all natural skin care, scrubs, soaps, and candles. Not only do these products seem amazing, the packaging is way too cute. I will definitely be looking into purchasing some of these products for myself and friends because I think everyone will love the aromatherapy fragrances and moisturizers Terri (shop owner) sells.
