ORGANIZING YOUR BATHROOM WITH ACRYLIC ORGANIZERS

Spending extra time at home means one thing in my house–organizing! It might sound crazy but my fellow organizing gurus will agree that organizing gives me peace of mind and is a great stress relief.. I couldn’t stand the sight of the way my bathroom was looking so I took matters into my own hands and went on a complete re-organizing spree and OMG the results were so satisfying! Here is how I utilized some of my favorite acrylic organizers from Bed Bath & Beyond and made my bathroom a completely new space!

Configure Drawers and Cabinets

Before I took a look at what products I had, I removed them all from their spaces so I could see how much room I was really working with. I ordered tons of acrylic organizers for my cabinets and drawers from Bed Bath & Beyond and I was so excited to get going! I was able to fill pretty much every space with some sort of organizer, which got me SO excited to start filling them.

Clean and Clear Out

The first major to doing a full reorganization of the bathroom included a deep clean. It had been some time since we had done one so this was a necessary first step! I cleared off all of the shelves and drawers of my bathroom and gave them all a good wipe-down. If there were any old or expired products I got rid of them to avoid excess clutter.  I feel like I’m constantly living in a messy bathroom and because of that I’m not using my beauty and bath products before they expire because I just can’t see them!

Categorize

One aspect of this project that I think made everything so much easier was categorizing my products and bathroom items. I made separate piles once I had gotten rid of items no longer needed. Sorting by skincare, makeup, hair, medical supplies, and baby items made putting my items away so much more efficient!

Organize

This is was the fun part for me! Since I already had my items categorized, it just came down to finding a home for each one! Don’t tell the other organizers, but the lazy susan is BY FAR my favorite. I figured it would probably be easiest to put like-items together, so my skincare and makeup are in the same vicinity and all of Harrison’s stuff is within reach of each other. ! I am really glad I took the time to strategically place things, because I really think it will help my routines become even more efficient. Sure it’ll take getting used to where everything is in its new home, but it already made me so happy and now makes me want to spend more time in here enjoying our space at home!
