The holiday party craziness has already started–I feel like it was just Halloween!  I’m sharing one of my holiday looks that I wore to a holiday themed cocktail party the other night and I decided to go with a glammed up (obviously) theme of black and white.  I feel like there is a lot of red, green, and blue at holiday parties so I wanted to go for a classic color palette of black and white.  I found this holiday cocktail dress nearby my office at my local Banana Republic Factory Store (I’m a sucker for the outlet malls, guilty!) and really loved the thick stripes and the nice hourglass shape.  Not to mention, all of their dresses are 50% off from December 2-12…so it was basically free, right?!?

Since my holiday cocktail dress was classic and simple, I opted for a classic red lip and winged liner for my makeup and brought out my sparkliest jewelry because–when in Rome!  It’s not everyday that you can pile on the sparkle so I figured my holiday party was the perfect excuse to bring on the old Hollywood glamour–don’t you think?
