Happy Friday! Another weekend of fun is on the way… I’m heading to the MAGIC Market Week trade show in Las Vegas this weekend. Its going to be fantastic to check out all of the shows and see the new product hitting retailers next spring. But now I just have to pack…
This week I dove into the crop top trend but in a slightly different way. Instead of opting for a top that hits at the navel, I found this beautiful Carven chevron cutout top and I think it might be one of my new favorites! The cut-out pattern is a very interesting way to show a little skin, but the classic sweater shape of the top keeps things from turning risqué. I paired this top with a classic pencil skirt to focus in on the exposed midriff. To play up the cutout and chevron theme, I slipped on my latest purchases–purple peep toe Ferragamo wedges and a chevron Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag.
What do you think of showing a bit of skin with cutout clothing? Too revealing or just the right mix of interesting and avant-garde?

I think its a great way to do the whole crop top trend in a comfortable, subtle way. More conservative than the crop top but interesting enough. Good balance. Lovely necklace.
