Make a Statement

This past week I teamed up with Acura to experience the new 2013 Acura ILX in all of its luxurious glory!  Fun fact about this fashionista: I know how to drive a manual transmission…and very well!  It was so much fun cruising around the city of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and through the winding hills of the Bay Area.  I really liked how the Acura ILX was a sporty and powerful car, but wrapped up in a luxurious package of leather and posh upgrades.  For my outfit, I wanted a look that was polished and just as lux as the ILX so I opted for my go-to Baukjen blazer and a new favorite Wilfred skirt in a warm metallic fabric.  For my shoes, I chose a shorter heel height since I wanted something that could easily handle quick clutch and gear shifting, whether I was zooming down Lombard street or sitting in stop and go traffic on Highway 101.  I loved how I could sync my phone with the car so that I could still stay connected to phone calls and texts while keeping my focus on the road.  But aside from the sleek design and understated luxury, my favorite aspect was the ample trunk space–lots of cargo space for a fashion blogger to tote around her closet in style!  I absolutely loved making a fashion statement in the Acura ILX while rocking my glam statement necklaces!
