Top: c/o Tart Collections // Skirt: Dries Van Noten, similar here // Heels: YSL, rebranded to Saint Laurent // Bag: Zara, but looks very similar to the splurge-worthy Givenchy Antigona // Necklace: c/o Capwell & Co // Ring: c/o Capwell & Co // Sunglasses: Forever 21 // Nails: Essie Prima Ballerina
I’ve been trying to mix up my closet a bit to try more unexpected pairings for a unique look. Stripes with spots, plaid on plaid, brocade with…more brocade? Today, I opted for mixing opposites–strong stripes with soft floral. I love the way the striped Tart Collections sweatshirt looks matched up with the floral shalimar Dries Van Noten skirt! Adding a relaxed top to a more formal skirt is one of my favorite ways to make an outfit more casual for everyday wear. And I polished it all off with bronze-hued accessories…including my latest obsession…this gorgeous bag from Zara which is the perfect, classic shape!

I know we’ve talked “structured” bags before and the shape on this is kinda awesome. The color is great too. So versatile! Stripes and floral; it’s like the new black girl. Love it on you! 🙂
