I know its already March but I swear the holidays were just upon us and my skin is still freaking out a bit. Ideally, my nighttime skin care routine includes washing my face with a cleanser, applying all sorts of serums and lotions, and drinking a big glass of water before bed. Dream skin situation right?
Well more often than not, I’m too tired to wash my face and opt for a makeup removing face wipe (I love them, but they definitely don’t get ALL of my makeup off) or worse than that… I’m so tired that I accidentally fall asleep with my makeup on (thankfully not frequently).
To get my skin back on track and into a regular routine, I opted to try out the Olay Skin Care 3 Step Reset after being recommended it by a friend. I’m always wanting to try the latest skincare and beauty items so this was right up my alley!

I really like the idea of these wipes for travel where all you need to do is create a lather with water and you have a facial ready to go! No more TSA 3 ounces or less, or spilled cleanser in your toiletries bag.
- Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Moisturizer with SPF 15 – An advanced moisturizing formula for healthier looking skin and I love anything with SPF in it. My skin drinks up moisturizer like it’s a job, so having tons of this on hand is key for me.
- Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel – I’m not a huge user of eye-specific products but this one had me intrigued after multiple people told me how life changing it is. I’ve been laughing much more than usual lately so I need some powerhouse eye gels in my life!
I typically can see a difference in my skin after about 2-3 days of using a new skincare product. At this point I noticed my skin was looking more hydrated (I also made a big effort to drink tons and tons of water!) and brighter by day 3 with some of my naturally occurring skin redness subsiding.
By day 14, I noticed my skin texture was evening out which is one of my big concern areas for me. The texture bumps happen with me whenever I have congestion in my skin from excess oil, makeup residue that I didn’t completely clean off, or general dehydration. After two weeks of being strong and sticking to my reset, I noticed my skin looked like I just had a facial with pores clean and texture minimized! So far so good!
After 28 days on the reset, my eyes feel more youthful and perky, my skin is hydrated and happy, and I overall felt more refreshed in my skin!

The nights of forgetting to wash off my makeup are long gone!
