When I went to MAGIC Market Week in Las Vegas a few weeks back, we were stuck at the airport for a few hours due to delays. It wasn ‘t ideal because sitting around in the airport is not exactly my favorite thing in the world to do…but I made a good use of time by shooting my outfit to share with what I wear when traveling!
When I travel, I like to maintain polish in my outfit and won’t be found traveling in yoga pants and a hoodie (unless I’m on a 10+ hour flight and am trying to sleep). More often than not, I’m on shorter flights and want to be able to go from the plane directly to my destination without having to change clothes in an airport bathroom.
For traveling from San Francisco to Las Vegas, I went with these great cropped, slim pants from Banana Republic in this cool diamond jacquard print. Since I was going from a cooler climate to OMG-its-so-hot–layering was key! I added a a vest as an additional layer, which could be easily used for warmth on the plane and easily taken off when I arrived. And going through security is never fun, so I replaced my usual heels with easy to slip on Chanel espadrilles!

We are totally aligned on the belief that one can and should travel comfortably polished. I am digging the blue hue you’re rocking here, Jennifer! Xoxo BA

Hi,
I found your blog through the Baukjen competition. 🙂
I have been to almost thirty countries but I don’t think I ever managed to travel as stylish as you are.
I am glad I found your blog!
