It’s been a minute since I’ve shared some general happenings in my life so I wanted to take you through my weekend to share the latest! Being that it was Mother’s Day and my dad’s birthday I was balancing family and personal time and trying to take some photos along the way.
I recently reinstated my ClassPass membership, are you guys on it? If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a monthly pass to any participating studio / city and you can attend unlimited classes. I had been a long time ClassPass-er before I moved last summer but cancelled since I was house hunting for five months (unfortunately no studios in my temporary location). I forgot how in love with it I was and have been loving discovering new studios near me. I’m especially fond of barre classes for their ability to work your muscles in unique ways and love how quickly they have transformed my planking game. If you follow me on snapchat (@justaddglam) you’ve seen that a recent fitness favorite has been the FlyBarre classes from Flywheel (last mentioned my love for their cycling classes here). Their instructor Tamara kicks you butt, but I’m always coming back for more.

I really enjoy giving gifts more than receiving them because I love sneaking around to find the perfect gift and this Mother’s Day was no exception. My mom has used Jo Malone fragrances for as long as I can remember but I wanted to make sure I got her the perfect scent she was loving. I went to the new Jo Malone boutique on Union Street in San Francisco an it was GORGEOUS. I’ve only seen Jo Malone in department stores so it was interesting to see the entire boutique with the expanded line of fragrances. I’m also a Jo Malone fan myself and like how they combine two different fragrances together to create something more unique and special. It reminds me of the scene in Ratatouille when Remy tastes cheese, tastes a strawberry, and then combines them together for a fireworks worthy taste–haha, I love that movie! I love a bright bougainvillea–I always have to stop and snap them on the street. I planted two at home (on each side of the garage) and it’s really fun to watch them grow larger and flower in the most gorgeous shade of deep magenta.
Of course I had to pick up a little something for myself at Jo Malone. I purchased the Blackberry & Bay scent and have been wearing it nonstop. Cue the Ratatouille fireworks!

I’ve never tried class pass. I normally workout at home but I’m doing my first Barre class Sunday and I’m super excited. 🙂
