Back to school has always been a favorite time for me. Growing up I loved stocking up on notebooks and gel pens for the school year–it was such a ritualistic experience to prepare for the year. Well, I’m no longer in college but I’m taking the same back to school shopping approach with my face skincare and beauty. I’m clearing out my summertime product empties and stocking up on the latest to help me transform my skin from summer to fall while moisturizing, cleansing, and beautifying. Check out more of my back to school haul from Target below!
Simple micellar facial wipes – This is probably the fourth or fifth pack of Simple wipes I’ve purchased. I’ve tested out a bunch of different brands but these ones really pull off my makeup while hydrating. I like that they don’t feel drying or harsh and they have these little micelles bubbles to get deep into my pores.
Pixi by Petra tint & concelear duo – I love a beauty product that multi-tasks, this one has a brightening tinted moisturizer on one end and a full-coverage consealer on the other!
St Ives Apricot scrub – I’ve had so many friends who love this scrub and I’ve never had the chance to try it until now. I’m a big fan of exfoliating my skin and this scrub is perfect for a weekly deep scrub to remove dry skin and polish your skin from dull to amazing. The apricot extract helps with brightening your skin
Ardell Lashes – I’m still getting the hang of strip lashes, sometimes they turn out great but sometimes not so great. These individual lashes are easy to pop on for a brighter eye without the full on glam of strip lashes.
Boots Botanics rosewater spritz – I love misting on rosewater or toners after stepping out of the shower, I love the smell of rosewater!
Nozema classic clean deep cleansing cream – Nozema has been a beauty staple forever but I actually had never tried it. I use these cream as eye makeup remover on a cotton ball to remove even the most sticky mascara that doesn’t come off with wipes and leaves my eye area smooth.
L’oreal true match foundation – When I’m in the store testing out foundations to match my skin it can be a challenge under the fluorescent lights. This foundation blends to my skin tone easily and is my current fav in my makeup bag.
Lydia Mondavi wine blot lip balm – OMG, I’ve found the holy grail of lip balm. This is so silky smooth, I’m going back to Target to get an extra one–one for my desk drawer, and one for my purse. Grape seed anti-oxidant formula leaves your lips feeling soft, plush and protected and also gives an SPF 20. It looks a bit purple but to confirm–it glides on completely clear.
NYX matte lipstick – Like all makeup, lipsticks can have a short shelf life. Stocked up on this matte red for a classic red lip this fall.
