Getting it out of the way–YES I chopped off my hair into a lob (long bob).  I love it so much–more on that later!

I’ll be the first to admit–I DID NOT consult the weather report before heading out the door to lunch this morning.  I was feeling a spring vibe with my espadrilles, white distressed denim, and bright red bag but then I walked out the door to a massive downpour of rain!  Step aside El Nino, I’m feeling my fresh cut and spring outfit today so I’m going to wear it anyway!  I really like the beaded details on these flats because they are so unlike anything else I have.  I used to carry a red bag a few years back and I’m really enjoying this GiGi New York tote for a nice pop of color for spring!  I professed my love for my Vaseline lip tin in my purse essentials blog post, but how cute is this lip tin holder?!? On the beauty side, I’m still obsessed with liquid lipsticks for color and thankfully mastered making wearing them more comfortable.  I start by priming my lips with my Vaseline lip tin when I’m starting my makeup so my lips have a chance to get nice and hydrated before applying my favorite liquid lipstick.  Then throughout the day, I’ll apply a layer of Vaseline as needed to get as hydrated as San Francisco on this rainy rainy day–ha!
