Navigating parenthood has become one of the most exciting times in our lives! There are so many new adventures each day with our bundle of joy and we can’t imagine life without him now. The first couple of weeks are all about survival mode and I would be lying if I said there were products that we definitely could have done without. That being said, I have no clue where we would be without our DockATot Grand Deluxe! This versatile and portable baby bed has been an absolute lifesaver for us in these first few months of being parents.
DockATot Review
What is the DockATot?
The DockATot was designed to “reinvent the womb” for our little ones. The snug environments that they once felt is imitated through the raised and cushioned sides of the bed. The flat bottom allows for safe (and supervised!) sleep on almost any flat and level surface. The cover of the DockATot is 100% cotton and so easy to throw into the washing machine with the rest of Harrison’s laundry. This one-of-a-kind bed with OEKO-TEX certified fabrics which do not trap in heat. This ensures that the micro-climate (space directly around the baby) is at the optimal temperature for a baby.
Fortunately, the DockATot comes in a variety of patterns and additional covers are available for purchase!
When we use the DockATot
One of my favorite things about the DockATot is it’s ease in mobility. We have been able to very easily take the DockATot with us everywhere we go, which makes for smoother naps for Harrison when we aren’t at home with his favorite place to sleep, The Happiest Baby Snoo Bassinet. Whether we are visiting with family and friends, or spending a weekend away on Lake Tahoe, the DockATot provides Harrison with a comfortable place to relax or nap wherever we are!
Not only is the DockATot a comfortable and reliable place for babies to relax or sleep, but they also are a great spot to encourage tummy time. When your baby is awake the Dock is ideal for practice with tummy time and independent (but supervised of course) play. We love giving Harrison a couple of his favorite toys and letting him kick around in the DockATot while we watch.
Since we use the DockATot so often in our house, it’s become a place of comfort for Harrison. That being said, when we are out of the house for naps, or even overnight stays, I know that he will be comforted by the DockATot!
