tresemme NYFW tresemme NYFW tresemme NYFW tresemme NYFWTop: Calypso St. Barth, Forever 21 // Jeans: Target // Bag: Chanel // Booties: Vince Camuto // Hair: TRESemmé Max the Volume & Make Waves

New York Fashion Week is officially over!  September is always a busy month for me so I’m happy to catch up on all of the shows and backstage prep via social media.  Fashion Week is an opportunity to go a bit bolder with your outfit and express yourself, so I did the same in SF–but my occasion was happy hour with the girls–same thing right?

I’m in love with this embellished top from Calypso St. Barth and paired with a simple flannel, it makes it more casual and wearable for day-to-night.  And my favorite, rolling the sleeves via the Jenna Lyons method for a perfectly imperfect cuff.

I’ve enjoyed following along the amazing creations coming out from the TRESemmé salon backstage like this one on Julia and this one on Arielle.  Many of the hairstyles coming out of the salon start with a base of waves and volume to create intricate braids, softly undone updos, or just amazing casual waves!  I used some of the TRESemmé Max the Volume and Make Waves products from Target to recreate the same NYFW look before curling my hair (with this method).  Once I’m on to second day hair, I’m going to try my best to recreate a similar updo…it’s so gorgeous!  Fingers crossed I can make it happen!

The TRESemmé Runway Collection is available at Target until 10/31, pick up any four TRESemmé products and get a $5 Target GiftCard.
