After a long week, sometimes all you want to do is come on home and relax. The other night I started my Friday off with a trip to my favorite Drybar salon for a much needed blowout. I’ve been chronicling my Drybar visits on Just Add Glam in a fun series to showcase the various styles on their menu (here, here, and here). For my Friday night home dinner date, I wanted a style that would be easy so I opted for the Manhattan–sleek and smooth! Its definitely not a look I normally go for but I actually really like the simplicity–its always fun to mix things up.
Once I got home, we tried out our newest obsession…the meal delivery service Blue Apron. Have you guys tried it? It’s a new meal delivery service where you’re sent all of the ingredients you need to prepare three fantastic meals for two, with everything in one box, perfect for your next home dinner date. Personally, I’m not a fan of searching the aisles of the grocery store on a Friday night so it was great to have a box waiting for me at my door. I cooked up the hake fish recipe and it was fantastic and so easy–excited to try out more in the future.
Since I knew I would be staying in, I planned my outfit that could easily transition from day to casual-night-at-home. I took off my Trina Turk blazer and Valentino heels and took advantage of my slouchy yet sparkly top and super comfortable Vince slim pants as cooking attire. Pop open a bottle of wine and it made for a fantastic Friday night. Good hair, good food, good fashion.

Weird, but I can’t get over your keyring! Where did you get that? I need an upgrade and yours is simple but elegant!

It’s from Tiffany! I’ve had it forever and it’s all dinged up but I love it.
